my pursuit of expansiveness
I was born on December 17, 1993 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. My parents, however, were born in village-suburbs of Cairo. I have been a traveler and an international citizen since I was 6 years old.
Now, at the age of 26, I have lived in Spain, New Zealand, Australia, and a
m now a resident of my beloved city; Valencia, Spain.
Basha the Vagabond is a very personal travel journal to me. I reflect on my struggles with depression, a quarter-life-crisis, and the trials and tribulations that come with being a root-less gypsy spirit, trying to find her place in the world.
Traveling for me became an act of falling in love with life again despite all the times it had knocked me down - hard. Encountering beloved new friends in breathtakingly beautiful places on the path to finding oneself; that is the magic of travelling that I have tried to document.
